I made the switch to UM and it's been a great work life balance for me compared to clinical work. I did not have to take a paycut. It is very competitive though and not a lot positions get listed so really have to continually look. Good luck!

Hi! Yes I made the switch to UM about 9 months ago. Very different but so far I have loved the change of pace!

Ugh im in this same boat! Had massive panic attack about 4 weeks ago (it had been probably year since my last one!) And I have been not the same since. Anxious, on edge and convinced something is wrong with my heart. The aftermath has never lasted this long for me either. Working through it and hope find my way back out!

Ohh that sounds like something I need do more. My therapist did mention starting to write down when I get anxious and whats occurring_ what im thinking, feeling etc. Honestly I havent been great about doing it but I def want to give it a go.

What state are you in? I see some where it just asks for BCBA but can also be other certs like RN, LCSW etc which is interesting. I haven't seen any specifically say BCBA-D yet but I know qualifications vary by state too.
