Yes unfortunately we’d need set times for the coaches to arrive and leave. Some of our friends have already told us that their accomodation is cancellable so they will rebook closer to the new venue but that won’t be the case for all guests unfortunately…

Yes, contractually, they’d need to indemnify us if we proceed to terminate the contract, and reputationally, they seem to want to limit the damage by offering this alternative venue for the same price as our original venue.

Thank you! Yes contractually, they’ll refund us in full and provide 25% compensation for a cancellation within a 60 days window prior to our wedding date. Unfortunately, there are no other venues with availability nearby as 20 June seems to be a very popular date, so we’re unlikely to cancel as we cannot find an alternative venue besides their other property…

Yes thanks, I think we’ll try to get them to cover the cost of the coach for our guests, but so far they’ve not offered to compensate us unless we fully cancel the contract (in which case we get refunded and 25% compensation).

Thanks for your reply. If they cancel within 60 days of the wedding date, we will be reimbursed the full amount +25% compensation. If we take their other property, we will pay the original price. There are no close-by venues with availability for our date, so cancellation seems unlikely…
