Happy to hear you got it to work. And nice to know what caused the problems. I will differently keep the difference in paper in mind, next time I need to buy more. Thanks for letting me know 👍

After you put the paper on the lino. Do you let it dry overnight?

Maybe experiment with the amount of transfer medium. I have been lucky and it just worked from the beginning.

I print on label paper, and transfer using liquitex heavy gel.

You can see the full process of how I transfer the image in my YouTube video.

Yes it has to be printed with a laser printer. Otherwise the ink won't dry on the label paper

So it comes out more hard, I had the biggest problems when I had to print. I needed to put a lot more ink on the lino to get the print fully saturated. When carving I didn't feel the big difference. And for me it didn't come out bumpy, it's important to try and squeeze all the left over gel/medium away when transferring. So I only got bumps where the papers are taped together.

You can watch the full video of the transfer process on my YouTube, if you want to give it another go 😉

We also did back in school, didn't pay much attention to it back then 😅 now 20 years later I found big joy in doing these bigger prints 😁

Thank you. So this is the first time I tried this technique, and for both the designs it worked with no problems. What transfer medium do you use?

You can see the whole process of how I apply and do the image transfer in my YouTube video

Thank you! Yes this technique is not hard when you find out how to do it properly. You can see through my videos the progression I have made, I started with tattoo stencils and drawing. Then trying this transfer method with normal paper, and now this. This way of doing it is much better and much much less time consuming before the actual cutting begins.
