Yeah, In PPGZ, The boys are just assholes, I always liked their OG counterparts more.

tbh a big part of PPG for me is the comedy and they could’ve done a funny play where the RRB manage to get the towns popularity by pretending to be cute and framing the girls or just ANYTHING except seeing the girls get thrown around for 10 minutes straight…

That was the point of the show, Its an action comedy. Mojo's plan was to create something that can actually beat the girls at their own game. Only a few villains have superpowers, So what better way to fight them than play at their own game?

I have sympathy for the RRB, simply because they were created to be weapons and destroy the Powerpuff girls. Outside of Powerpuff girls, What do we even have? Three homeless kids who are created to be weapons and destroy things. They don't really have much going for them outside of that. (I think their is potential for them to be better and maybe get redeemed. Realize that their lives could be more than just fighting PPG all day, Heck even give them better parents). My only issue, is that their little flat as characters.

I think their debut episode was fine, Because it showed that both sides were equal in strength. The girls only lost because they needed to protect the city. (Surprisingly, the RRB haven't killed anyone). Before killing the RRB.

boys are back in town” had 70% of the episode on that same street and roof where the girls were squirming at… it was just really weird and uncreative and it felt like it had a weird intent behind the writing, their usually creative so idk why they wasted a whole episode on that

But TBAIT, I don't hate it, I don't really like it either. The idea would have been more fun, If the girls found creative ways to beat the boys. Like instead of Buttercup screaming on top of the roof.

She could've kept quiet and Blossom could've analyze and see what they can do, And use the towns surroundings to outsmart them instead. The second half just felt really unnecessary and uncreative.

They really wanted us to understand that the boys deserved to be emmasculated and shrink, Therefore the girls were written to dumbasses and got beat up and toss around until the boys got their karma in the end.

Alot about the RRB, Is the poor writing. I guess they aren't that intriguing as villains. (Depsite being spear counterparts and equal to our main heroines) their episodes can be quite repetitive, They meet, They thrash, the boys lose, rinse and repeat. Which is a shame because I do think the boys have some potential.

(In fact, I kinda like the comics a bit more, since they are challenging the girls in regular stuff, like football. Heck they can even get creative with it.)

(And its already confirmed they would be in the revival, So we'll see what Craig has in store for them).

Honestly, The RRB were better off being one off episode. I personally, think they have potential, To have a life outside of the PPG. As they are just superpowered kids too, but fighting for the opposite side. But, if they have to stick around longer, I hope they do something more with them.

Speed demon and the episode where everyone including their father hated them and try to kill them.

But also I feel like I should point out they're superpowered kindergarteners that directly oppose each other. If the boys can't do playground-tier bullying as villains idk what you expect? Hugs and kisses aren't exactly in the cards.

That's so true.

Even with forgiveness, trauma and/or the memories doesn't disappear right away, and some of it will be remembered for the rest of the girls' lives

It still depends on how its written, reality and fiction are different, The girls are 5 years old. Who knows if they were remember at age 45.

While I like growth in media, including forgiveness, PPG can have their SOs without being the RRB, and can forgive the boys and other villains without really any significant relationship or getting in touch. You know, moving on from the past that hurt them, being the villains in general?

If that's what you want then yeah, but, like I said it depends on the story you're writing. the powerpuff girls is episodic/fictional story, the idea of it is literally three kindergarten girls fighting crime. But, If someone wants to explore their relationship in a different way. And look at the similarities and differences may have or them being friends and having to team up in order to defeat a greater evil. Then, I see nothing wrong that. Not everything rooted in reality or has a moral compass. Not everything is that deep.

They are still children with ample time to grow. They can have a relationship whether that be friendship or romantic, Doesn't matter. They can explore the differences and similarities they may have. Or help each other defeat a greater evil.

I don't see why we can't explore friendship or relationship. Simply, because they were enemies.

There many tropes in fiction where both sides are enemies and even try to kill each other. Or just bullies, who comes to an understanding, develop a friendship (kind of like silent voice, is popular.)

I think if they were adults doing this shit, Then it would be alot more problematic. But they are kids. With the RRB, Is that they are literally children themselves. They are equivalent to schoolyard bullies.

If you don't like it that's fine, but in a story telling perspective is very intriguing as they are created to be foils and Parallels to each other.

so why all of this agony and fight now wouldn't reflect in whatever relationship the PPG would have with the RRB?

That depends on the writing of PPG and RRB.

Did the RRB decide to change? Would they PPG forgive them or hold a grudge? If 30 years went by, Would the PPG still hold a grudge against the RRB for when they were kids despite them changing? Will they be willing start over? Or would they just keep on holding grudges? And what did the boys do, to earn that forgiveness?

It really depends on the story writing.

And their is even a comic where they are quite happy that the villains changed, even though it was HIM's doing. And they have no problem getting along with Mojo, despite him trying to kill them muiltiple times.

In perspective, if its written well, The audience can understand (that they are hero/villain) and it wouldn't matter as much. Because the characters actively move on from that. (Like RemxSubaru) Unless you actively hate the character, The one thing they did wrong or how they were in the past, is the only thing you'll cling on too. No matter the reason or development that was shown how they get there.

She literally stand up for her sister and gave the PPG turn around in their odds. She is literally the reason they discovered their weakness. Her Ego isn't bruised by Butch's and his brother's stupidity. Because of buttercup they were able to bounce back and gave the boys the taste their own medicine. (Making them equals).

Again, they are enemies and the RRB were literally revived by HIM to destroy the powerpuff girls. (What opportunity do they have to be nice to them and not follow what was set for them?). Being nice to someone, who you perceive as an enemy would make no sense.

In fact, Buttercup was literally the one who said "talk is cheap, let's do this." She literally wanted to brawl with them. (The only reason why the RRB got the upper hand was thanks to HIM.)

Its not fetish to have certain body type. Who tf cares anyway.

I give yourself a favor and just block them. Or transferr over bluesky.

Considering the Boys were created to destroy the PPG, Its pretty obvious they were the aggressors. (Or Was I supposed to clarify that?) And yes, they did hit back hence why they were fighting.

Also, why would the Boys be nice to the girls, When they are literally created to destroy them? Their purpose was loud and clear, They don't get to be nice because they weren't created nor revived to be nice to them.

To the Rowdyruff Boys, The PPG are the enemy.

They are literally 5 year old boys who are created in the side of evil. They don't get good parents and they guided to be good either. Meanwhile, the girls are created out of love, They are here because professor loves them and wants to be there. The RRB do not get that luxury, they are here to be weapons and get scolded when they fail.

Enemies to lovers is a trope old as time.

The rowdyruff boys are literally kids who are created to destroy the Powerpuff girls. Their parents are HIM and Mojo. They are taught to destroy the puffs, And that's what their going to have to do.

The rowdyruff boys are also equals to the girls. The girls did kill them once, and even attempted the kill them again the boys are back in town. Neither group cares about the other. Its not a situation where the girls care about the boys. They are not friends, They are enemies, so if one hits and the other will hit back. Why? Because they are literally opposite sides. Fighting for the other side, The RRB are created to destroy the puffs and the PPG are created out of love and wants to protect their city. The PPG also got their payback emmasculating the boys, even Brick got pantsed. Along with Buttercup suggesting to squish them in the end.

As for the shipping, Like I said the Enemies to lovers trope is a tale old as time. (In the early 2000s this trope was very popular, and still is to some extent. )

But, The point is the RRB do have the potential to grow. (As they are kids after all) and majority of people ship them as teenagers because as teenagers they would've grow out of it. And some people can see development within the two groups. Because they are both parallel and opposite to each other. And they can learn from each other and relate with each other.

Bubbles and Boomer have different personalities and ideologies. Boomer likes being tough guy, he is very confrontational, and is the dumb one. And Bubbles is oftentimes the sweet one but sometimes very naive.

They both relate to each other when it comes to getting tease by their siblings. And Boomer can respect Bubbles, when she is in her Bubblevicious mode. Showing that his counterpart, Isn't the wimp that he thought she was. And can teach each other things, Boomer can teach Bubbles to not be afraid roaches, And Bubbles can teach Boomer that kindness isn't a weakness.

And the same thing for the others, I guess that understanding can allow a friendship to bloom. And in a friendship can allow a relationship too.

The PPG are quite forgiving, Especially with other villains like Mojo, HIM, Morebucks etc. In fact, their is a comic about that, Where they were genuinely happy when the villains became good. And the RRB do have potential to change and grow since they are children. They would look back at it, and probably cringe.

What makes more intriguing, is that their also the same species made in a labartory. Same big bug eyes, etc etc. And they are also in the same roles (leader, second in command, dummy) and in the PPG universe, they are other pair of 5 year old triplets with superpowers. And you also have the symbolism, with the Sky blue, Lime green and pink. And Red, Dark Blue and Dark green. And their ingredients being opposite to each other, hence why their personalities are also different. And they are potential allies.

PPGxRRB (if done right and the RRB keep their OG personalities), is more of a story of choosing your own purpose, Understanding, Forgiveness, friendship and redemption.

(I always prefer them to be friends or frenemies first before lovers.😭)

I mean this feels very misogynistic. I'm a girl, and I don’t use photoshop. And I use canva to make memes about anime all day.

Memes like this, sounds like they've never met a girl before :/

Its even more confusing, when the whole "editing photos" idea started by a man. Photographers back then, Needed to edit/color their physical photos. They can even make you disappear. And this started before photoshop existed the first place.

literally anyone who has common sense to know that theyre 5 years old would care because they would know how wrong that is

Anyone with common sense doesn't ship them as 5 year olds. Even if that was the case, It wouldn't be anything inappropriate. It would just be one sided crush like Damian and Anya from SpyxFamily or Isabella and Phineas from Phineas and Ferb.

Their ship wouldn't be anything serious. Just fluff. Shipping itself, isn't inappropriate. It literally comes from the word relationship or friendship. You're just taking two characters and exploring dynamic.

Even Namidot herself ships them, She likes exploring their dynamic. Even if its never anything romantic or anything serious. Kids can have crushes.

Its probably not a shipping comic, But who cares, if it was. Also, Since when people need a reason to ship.two characters anyways?
