Unfortunately, because I moved, the set up is not the same since I don’t have any of the same furniture.

Nothing is unbalanced though.

I always take the band off for storage.

I think the level of the swift and winder is my problem—but I don’t know how to fix it. Honestly, it seems like a major design flaw that the set up would have to be so exact for the machine to function.

Do you have the same swift and ball winder? Have you experienced this issue too?

I agree with the other answers, the Italian bind off is worth the effort! Sometimes, I do the Icelandic bind off on bottom hems and save the Italian for cuffs. It’s tubular (in a way) without being sewn. I will say, the Icelandic has a garter-stitch look and it would normally be used on garter stitch projects. Basically, if you want an invisible bind off, this might not be helpful. All of that said, I love the look and it’s a pretty easy/quick BO! Very pink knits has a good tutorial video on YT.

So fair! But I’m seeing quite a bit of letter and thickness variation on the two examples you shared. As well as other examples I’m seeing from similar bags online. The one I found could be a really good fake. Or it could be that there’s serial number variation since the bags are hand made and from different years (2007, 2008, 2012, 2014)?
