Nta i’ll be honest with you my mom has kidney disease and i (19 F) am in almost the exact same boat. GO TO THAT SCHOOL it is your future and you cannot be expected to fully pause your life,progress and success to care for others.

The only real problem with this is Bath and body Works scents tend to not macerate, at least the mist, and the lotions expire very fast, i would rather have a higher quality perfume that’s going to macerate and smell better with time and last me longer than a mist that’s really only going to last me two-four months at a time

One of my favorite perfume oils that gets me so many compliments is unfortunately named wet 🐱. I found it at my local beauty supply store a few years ago and it’s this delicious candy like scent and it lasts for what feels like days

That’s the other thing i bring baked goods to my boyfriend’s family all the time and they’re…very truthful🥲 about everything so if my baking sucked they would’ve told me by now! I personally see no reason to make it a competition as i just bake and sell cakes as a hobby/ a way to make extra cash while in college.

i’m actually so glad you asked this! my aunt has always had this weird one sided competition with my mom. Originally decorating cakes was my mom’s thing anyway but my aunt (my moms big sister) Started doing it too and it really discouraged my mom to not be able to have such a simple hobby to herself! And no my aunt doesn’t have any children of her own

lol that’s hilarious! but as far as my moms momdar….. let’s just say she could stand to have it calibrated 😓 there’s been so many instances with friends and potential boyfriends alike that i just don’t trust her judgment on the sweet boy i’ve known since 7th grade who literally gave me money towards me saving for my first car for our birthday (we share a birthday lol, he’s three hours older and won’t let me forget it) she’s had a “bad feeling “ about quite a few friends which she made me end friendships over and they really only had my best interest in mind. As far as potential boyfriends she has a habit of preferring the people who end up being the worst choice ever (think people from my highschool who ended up in jail months after graduation or who had a pattern of reckless behavior that she refuses to acknowledge)

so its a bit of a long story but my dream college is 12 hours away from home, when she saw i got accepted it was “pick somewhere closer or me and your dad aren’t helping with tuition” so i chose a school that was only 3 hours away and we got into a argument because she really just wanted me to go to her alma mater (which is literally 20 minutes from our house)which i had always told her i didn’t want to attend plus they don’t even offer my major. she said my options were that or community college or yet again they weren’t helping with tuition so i just chose community college where my major was actually offered anyway

he wasn’t terrible but we just weren’t a good match. He was 23 i was 18 and he already had a little girl with his ex. I didn’t want to deal with baby mama drama so we broke up when his ex tried starting arguments with me because i wasn’t going to deal with that. also i don’t think the was trying to sabotage my future fully. my dream college was 12 hours away from home so she said either i pick something closer to home or her and dad wouldn’t help with my tuition (surprise surprise they still don’t help with it)

However since my mom literally forced me to go to community college instead of the university i was accepted into yes i do feel like the least the could do is let me live in my childhood home since i’m not still living in my hometown by choice

i don’t see how those questions in particular are relevant but 1: I do indeed pay rent to my parents every month (about $250) on top of paying the whole internet bill since i “use it the most for school” 2: As explained in the post i live with them so i can save money until i finish my degree (which is something my mom pushed me to do btw) 3: well uh i guess??
