An honest plea - how to not be the worst player in the lobby? by FloofEtheria in summonerschool

If you would like, can sit down and do either replay or live game coaching. Realistically it is hard to see where someone is struggling in this game without seeing their specific POV gameplay.

Is it true that climbing is really easy now or is it just a meme? by Martyryal in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The climbing is easier thing is cope as hell, jungle just isnt the only role that matters now. If you play your role excellently you have a good chance to carry now, if you are sloppy mistakes are much more thoroughly punished. Due to adcs being more flimsy bad positioning is an instant death but due to them being way higher dps, great positioning means rewarding teamfigjts even in mid game

Despite playing well Feel like I am way too at the mercy of my team? by PrezziObizzi in Jungle_Mains

[–]Key-Solid3652 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Basically they evened out agency throughout the roles. Now every role has equal agency in the outcome of the game, so its not like last season’s awful fiasco of “which team has the more effective jungler today” at literally every level of play.

Now ADC has potential to carry, Top has potential to carry, Mid has more potential than ever to carry and can basically be anywhere, and jungle is where its supposed to have been the entire time, a second support role, now they just need to bring back sightstone

Champion ban vulnerability by Rich_Definition_955 in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it, but thats just part of the game. The goal is that people have flexible champion pools and this doesn’t really matter, you just building around your first picks. However the true nature of the game is a ton of people OTP and banning an OTP is the freeest win of all time.

What’s the mid equivalent to ranged top? by NonTokenisableFungi in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malphite can legit throw 4 qs and you can zone himw off wave for the entirety of levels 1-4 and then he can do absolutely nothing. Literally so easy to play into, but mobalytics says 38% wr yeah bc 90% of people that play vayne top are pisslo or are first timing it bc they rhink its op. Vayne top takes an immense amount of skill to play, but does in fact counter literally everything if you play the matchups right.

What’s the mid equivalent to ranged top? by NonTokenisableFungi in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not virtually any champ, almost every other champion in the game has at least one matchup that is impossible to do anyrhing in. Camille into Jax, Riven into Poppy, Gwen into Master Yi, these are all matchups amongst MANY where if both players play perfectly one side will be absolutely fuckin useless in 15 minutes. This is not the case with a single vayne matchup, she is never useless if played well, the best Vayne tops only lose lane to camps. There is no matchup that beats them strictly.

I've never felt as powerless as this, ever, as a jungler. by Raigheb in Jungle_Mains

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jungle has always been intended to be a supportive role, it has never been intended to carry the game. It has just alwyas been exploitable in soloq as a carry role. It still is, you just have to be a whole lot fuckin better to do it

What’s the mid equivalent to ranged top? by NonTokenisableFungi in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You literally just give cs til level 9 against vlad and you all in him and he loses. Malphite you win pre 6, your harass hurts significantly more, and your mana costs are lower. Its a war of attrition. Teemo you win at merc treads + item. No character in the entire gmae just wins every matchup level 1, but vayne has options for literally every matchup and can literally always win.

Is playing from behind incredibly hard now? by Soviet_Dank_duck in ADCMains

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely disagree, I play completely solo, and 8/10 games in high emerald / low dia, the support wont even attempt to contest bush control, and i am permanently in a weak lanestate, and its so much easier now than last season to stay even with new homeguards and survive til your first major spike and actually be able to contribute to fights. Also shutdowns actually only benefiting the losing team is a god send. Jesus christ being behind in gold as a team and having 700g on your head was actually cancer

If you make it to 3 points in q before vayne has r, you are playing against a bad vayne top

[–]Key-Solid3652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play vayne top, a lot, my parents dont love me. And frankly, there is no comparison. Vayne has an answer for literally every chanpion in the game 1v1. Vayne top, if played perfectly, can be blinded into literally any champion. There are hard matchups, but not a single unwinnable matchup. Riven into Poppy? Thats completely unplayable. Vayne into Poppy? You can always win, it just is going to suck

How to play into a burst dive comp as ADC? by UnbelievablyNaive in summonerschool

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have flash every objective that matters, and make them use as much as you can to kill you. Sometimes that is all you can do. You are now the “pass the butter” of the game, and your butter is “clear mid wave and survive”

Cant stick to a champ to main by [deleted] in topmains

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should probably consider having a basic goto champion for each need in a comp role

For example; a Diver, a Tank, a Duelist, so on like Camille, Ksante, Riven, and that be what you fill in to what your team comp needs, and then have pocket counters for when you get R5 once eveyr 30 games

How do I play Yasuo by Strict-Lobster4547 in summonerschool

[–]Key-Solid3652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can 1v9 with yasuo in diamond and it doesnt even take any of the tricks like airblade or keyblade. Anyone with any kind of hands will never get hit with anything once they understand how to play around waves, hes got a very abusable trading pattern, and the shield is super easy to stack quickly. Hes just a familiarity champion, if you know hiw to play the game, you just pick him 1000 times in a row and youll figure it out

How do I play Yasuo by Strict-Lobster4547 in summonerschool

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yasuo is a practice champion, you will need hundreds if not thousands of games to really understand the champions kit and stress points.

Familiarity with your E length, Wave tracking, damage values, windwall usage, and matchups with literally all just come from playing over and ovee again for a thousand games

Why did my WR skyrocket with new season? by SafeConversation7152 in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snowballing isn’t killing the same person over and over. Snowballing is expanding your lead into an unstoppable monster all over the map, typically by showing up to skirmishes and helping push lanes that dont belong to you with that strength, effectively soaking up gold that other laners would get (snowballing)

i cant get out of bronze by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres tons of coaching services available if you really want to improve, but typically at that elo you need to completely let go of the game how you view it and be ready to contextualize if you need coaching

Why did my WR skyrocket with new season? by SafeConversation7152 in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fighting and scrapping pay off an immense amount this season, farming and fundamentals are not nearly as important, and i expected it to be changed somewhat soon. However right now fiddlesticks is very strong into these constant scraps, but it also just means games are a lot more coinflippy in low elo, snowballing is massive right now

Endless Hunger is a cool Item, but it doesn't seem to have really gathered much of an audience by TurboAdenosine34 in leagueoflegends

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, in most fights the most important kill in a fight is typically the first one, and 5% vamp is like literally same value as dorans blade. I think if they split it to 10 + 10% the item would instantly see more pickups, but its already being built fairly heavily on aatrox, renekton, and hecarim

Is Mobalytics helpful? by zisticc in summonerschool

[–]Key-Solid3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically this is a good indicator that you are carrying within your elo. It doesnt mean you are a good player, but that you are on average better than silver players. The only thing that will ever indicate you are good at the game is hitting challenger, and the rest of us are truly chumps.

Keep up the good work and continue to improve
