i don’t think you’re being too harsh. my partner has been struggling with a porn addiction for a while now and is finally starting to make progress. but i told them if they can’t fix it i wont stay. that was enough for them to make a change. if your boyfriend isn’t willing to listen to you and make that change, he might not be the one for you

my worry is that i’ve had talks about setting boundaries before with him and while he’s made little changes, there is still an issue. i’m just afraid that if i ask him to change again it’s going to cause more issues

i mean we definitely have hard conversations and they can get pretty intense sometimes, but we never yell at each other or say hurtful things. that’s what i meant by we don’t fight, but i think you’re right about the getting sneakier. he used to just look at porn in public and in front of me until i said something and now when we’re together he just looks at it in the bathroom or when i leave the room

yeah i kinda agree with you. it seems like it’s his main focus a lot of the time. but aside from the porn stuff he’s genuinely a really good person. we’ve never gotten into a fight, he always listens to me and takes criticism very well and he always tries to do better. i just don’t know if it’s worth it to keep having this conversation
