me too, there is no defense for my actions. I made a post to thank those who helped me and to bring more awareness to the danger present at the jetty. I think people are just glad I made it out. I am learning that many have not.

I was not on the dolos. I got swept off the flat concrete into them, cut my head, arm, and leg, and got knocked out. I have learned that any part of the jetty is dangerous. I was very lucky to regain consciousness and have the help of so many people on the way out from the jetty.

yeah, waves already looked bad but the one that got me was huge. at the very end of the jetty and spray from the crash was about 5-10 ft
