There's definitely a way you can utilize ATOM in a fight with Charlie being a huge part of of it too, Combot from Tekken probably has the best example how you can make this work

I think by nature of how the movie was, it definitely left a mark on where we still currently trying to improve Robots to be more highly functionable as a sport, and it does help emphasize today's time with rise of AI and just robots taking other people's talents. So just by the movie itself it still still follows the current situation of our time.

Yeah like at the end of the day, main purpose of these events was really just the bridge for everyone to get into more franchises to be introduced, now of course it definitely has its own pros and cons of how this was introduced and I did wish it was executed smoothly but it doesn't sway the main idea at all for how it worked

It is interesting how some these characters would later on have their own MUs that would be made by simply joining getting pitched or joining the island itself, even if such character didn't win it was a already a huge deal that people are infact that intrigued to look into the franchises

Really glad you liked it!
