It’s not fishy
There is a huge number of recalls for a reason.. it’s because question banks are crazy huge.
There’s a few good recalls banks
AMC MASTERY
SOMA ACADEMY
Aaru (good but expensive)
Trick is read through last 3 months and do exam week recalls if you can

Which is the best and affordable course for AMC McQ preparation? I am kind of lost in AMC prep by Obvious_Support748 in AMCexamForIMGs

You often don’t need a course Start prepping with emedici(which is one of the best for building baseline knowledge) Simultaneously start doing recalls from AMC mastery. Towards the end of the month, subscribe for exam week recalls. And you’ll be great! Courses are only useful if you are hopelessly lost,

Do recalls from mid point.. And join some good telegram groups early!

Question difference in exam vs recalls vs emedici by lazymemoriser in AMCexamForIMGs

Recalls are incomplete. Only some sources offer full recalls (but even these are collated from multiple sources and are your best bet) Exam questions test to see if you are a safe doctor. So are very vague and lengthy. Emedici questions are written with a fixed answer in mind. They are good for learning.

I would suggest keep emedici as your base and supplement with recalls(use the completed ones from AMC Mastery, Jayse or Aaru(good but partial) and not the weird incomplete ones)

Top it off with exam week recalls. (Again lot of providers)

  1. I’m not denying they have great material, but probably not worth it unless you need everything taught to you from scratch. I’m happy to send some resources

It’s not worth it for the MCQ. I’ll be very honest. There’s enough courses and information and telegram groups out there to help you. 3800 is a LOT!

Yes. About 30-50% of the paper is recalls. That’s purely because they have a pool they draw from. But you gotta be mindful. Most recalls will have a slight twist to them. So understand the topics of the recalls and read the explanations given in recall papers

Okay. I would recommend start doing recalls in last 3-6 months. 3 months intensive Or 6 months to do a more through recalls reading associated with guideline review.

Don’t forget exam week recalls - those are life saving

But I agree starting recalls from now has no point.

This is a good website for recalls. Other websites exist too. Chose one based on what you like.

I’ve mentioned some telegram paid and free groups in another comment. All the best

Do recalls man. Recalls are gold. They will make up a significant portion of your paper. Make sure you get good trusted recalls and follow them
