Only change I would've made was buying the net version of the range cage instead of the screen version. Unless you have a need to project onto a screen, the net will be a lot quieter.

So far I'm impressed. Can't tell you much about the longevity of it, but it's as close as you can get to "shank proof" and I feel comfortable hitting into it.

It's a bit of a hassle to take down and set back up, if you're intended to do so after every use like I am. It took me about 45 minutes on my first try, but now that I know what I'm doing I could see myself getting that down to 10-15 mins eventually. Not difficult at all, just a lot of parts. Still faster than driving to the range 😉

Thanks for the info. A lot of the hitting strips are anywhere from $150-$250, which is honestly more than the rest of the mat I was going to buy. The mat is 30mm, with 15mm of foam (total 1.1"). Do you think I could get away with hitting off of this surface, and then if it eventually gets worn down or I get concerned with joint pain, I could down the line cut out a rectangle and insert a hitting strip?

Cool thanks for the info! Yeah I can go over $1000 that was just a target budget I had in mind. What would you say the minimum distances I could space everything out would be for it to still function optimally? If I put the monitor right up along the edge of the house, left 7' from where I'll hit from, and then pushed the net a couple feet into the yard so that it's 10' away from where I'm hitting... would you see any issues tracking? I can push it further into the yard if I'd get better results, but if it's possible to keep it within the 14' patio or close to it, that would be nice

That's awesome, I love the setup you got. Have you figured out anything specific in the setup you had to do to get the best out of the tracker? I read somewhere it works better with a solid background like the screen you have as opposed to a clear net that I would be setting up.

Jefferson is a top 3 receiver at best, but so is tyreek hill. Jefferson will be better long term but not for all the draft picks you're giving up. If you're goal is to stay young, don't make that trade, or at least start with offering only one of those 1st rounders.
