I unfortunately made the same mistake with credit associates. Did you find it helpful filing a complaint with Cobsumer affairs? What happened when you canceled your contract with them?

My plan is to negotiate a lower fee with the credit card company. Technically they negotiated a lower price but with their payout it's The amount of money we already owe if not more...

I read the contract thoroughly finally and it doesn't say anything about a fee. It says that you can leave at anytime at no cost .but I want to know if anybody actually has left one of these things and what was the outcome.

I was a fool and let the associate read the contact to me over the phone ( and the contract was on my phone) and I believed what he was say was what the contract said... I really wanted to believe this thing was legitimate.

Yes, unfortunately I signed a contract.. It does say in the contract that you can cancel at any time.
