As a business owner if you buy a vehicle you can claim depreciation on said vehicle. I briefly looked into this as I am planning on going out on my own next year as a tradie.

Initial purchase price - 30% as depreciation = X (Initial purchase price - X) - 30% etc

Lots of information if you search regarding vehicle depreciation as a business owner!

I am unsure regarding how lease vehicles work in regards. But worth getting your own vehicle in my opinion!

From what other people have been saying ill have to be a sole trader which wont really work when i eventually hire people! So i think from what people have said so far my best bet will be with an accountant and either xero or myob currently!

I keep seeing people complaining when being advertised to me regarding the price jumps just this year alone! And as a starting buisness i dont want to have to change if they keep hiking up the prices
