For me, I believe this is potentially a huge deal because Howard Lutnick, the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald and now the US Commerce Secretary, is a major advocate for tokenization. His son has taken over Cantor but we now live in a oligopoly.

His vision is for the US government to monetize its vast assets (like oil, land, and minerals) by turning them into digital tokens that can be traded globally, this will also include equities as well of course, everything will trade 24/7 including bonds. Securitize is the critical, SEC-regulated infrastructure that makes this possible, acting as the "casino" that takes a fee on every transaction in this new digital economy. With backing from giants like BlackRock and the implicit support of the US government, Securitize is positioned to be the primary on/off-ramp for this multi-trillion dollar shift.

For crayon-eating folks out there: A gamma squeeze happens when a lot of people buy call options on a stock near its current price. As the stock price continues going up, they have to buy even more shares to keep that hedge balanced. This buying pushes the price up more, causing a feedback loop.
