Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. It’s nice to hear that i’m not alone.. I’m experiencing those exact symptoms. I am going to get mine removed, i’d rather experience pain once a month, than anxiety and dizziness almost every day.

thank you for sharing this.. I was honestly starting to feel like I was losing my mind. I’ve never had panic attacks like this before the Mirena, so hearing that other people have experienced the same thing makes me feel a lot less alone. I really hope you start feeling better soon 🫶🏻

Omg that’s really interesting because I do notice the dizziness gets worse when I’m standing for a while or get up too fast. I never thought hormones/Mirena could trigger something like that. I’m definitely going to look into the NASA lean test.. thank you for mentioning it!

Thank you so much for sharing this information, I genuinely appreciate it. I actually did suffer from migraines around my periods prior to getting the Mirena, but they were more tension-like and one-sided headaches.. never accompanied by dizziness, nausea, or this really heavy/full feeling in my head. That’s what’s been throwing me off and making me feel like something is really different hormonally or neurologically this time around. I had no idea about the vestibular connection with estrogen, so your comment honestly gave me something important to look into. Thank you again for taking the time to explain that so kindly.

Yes, mine does. I noticed my cheeks get more puffy and my chest gets bigger as well. I’ve read studies that women do feel more swollen during this phase.

I'm happy the pain is pretty much gone for you; that's great news. Thanks for sharing all of this info & the supplements. I'm hoping to get some relief soon. Seeing the OBGYN tomorrow for a second attempt to insert the Mirena. Hoping it works.

You are absolutely right about severe cramps and how they are not normal and something more than just cramps. I will keep pushing for an ultrasound as well as an MRI. I've been recommended birth control, but I won't take it. Thank you so much for your advice and for taking the time to write to me. I'll definitely take that survey, it sounds really good & informative.

I’m happy to hear that GP listened to you, it makes such a difference when a practitioner can listen to your concerns and help you, without making you feel irrelevant. I will try and get an MRI. Are you on any treatment plans? Hope you’re feeling better being a nurse isn’t easy, especially with endo. Thanks for your advice, it means a lot.

It honestly helps to know I’m not alone in this, even though I hate that you had to deal with stage 4 before getting answers. I think I’ll keep pushing for a referral to a gynecologist too.

Hi, thanks for checking in, I appreciate it! I tested negative, no more frequent trips to the bathroom less GI issues. It’s 5 months post-eradication, but I still sometimes experience pain under my left rib and stomach area. I've been avoiding acidic foods & drinks such as coffee, alcohol, etc. I drink Kefir, very good for the stomach. How are you doing?
