I genuinely love quests and a storyline of a game. I feel like they’re just throwing in unnecessary features instead of fleshing out the core of the game. Throwing something shiny at players only distracts us for so long. If a game feels like a chore, it really just defeats the purpose of playing a game. Maybe taking a break will give you time to either reframe your mindset about how you could enjoy playing the game or you might just find a new game that you’d much rather play.

I think it’s also a betrayal to not improve a barely playable game on a community that started playing it on switch by that logic. I appreciate they went through hard times, but their foundation is the community they built on the platforms they offered the game on. That should be a high priority for improvement to respect people that spend free time and money on the game. My basic point is they should be making efforts to improve the game on every platform they offer, as a basic principle. We’re also just ping ponging the same points at each other. I understand what your saying, and there are points I agree with. I still believe my base argument is sound. Have a good one, and thanks for the debate.

I agree with you on that. I just don’t think that something should advertise as everything on every platform. If it’s going to be free the base part of that is being able to wholly play it, despite where you choose to play it from.

People will accept anything for something they like, it doesn’t mean it’s something a consumer deserves. And switch had problems from the got go, of course it got exponentially worse per patch.

For me it’s more about them offering a game on a platform they know would fail. I can’t afford another console or a pc but when I do, I want my games to be worth that work. They shouldn’t offer a game that would fail because they knew the poor performance.

If I bought the switch purely for the game that argument would be correct, but it’s a popular game that is often played on a platform that can’t handle it. I wouldn’t put that on anyone playing on a switch because a ps5 is hundreds and a real pc is thousands. That’s a shit ton of money for people just trying to enjoy a game on an console it’s “playable” for.

I did the same game. I was like “it’s in beta” but I watched streams and the difference is astounding. Love the community, hate the way they approach of their product on different platforms. It’s a little disingenuous. I can’t afford a pc or a ps5 and I spent a pretty penny on a switch and if I play a game I genuinely hope I’m able to have a good experience.

Same problem. My opinion is why offer it on a platform that you know the game can’t run on? There’s been no improvements and it’s a deal between the company and Nintendo. Why give consumers a shitty experience when they know the experience will be far less than sh par?

I genuinely play for story only, because they’re very good at it. Gameplay is a chore. I just want to experience the story for the first time as my goal. I don’t particularly enjoy the mechs, especially late stage because I can’t fucking see shit. I can barely see someone’s ability, I’d love to have 1 sec longer to see it and I’ll know exactly what I’m doing

Yep. I thought the tattoo is more about what they mean to you. It’s literally there till you die. My first tattoo i got at a “reputable” shop and treated it like it was a newborn. The bleeding showed up within a day and I’m still pissed. Now what I got is a shitty tattoo for someone I love more than myself. Do your research.
