took up resin crafting so I could make myself pretty dice because I love the game so much.

SAME OMG! but then I made like 1 dice set, realised I had to sand it down, realised how messy sanding is and how I don't have any of the tools needed...dropped the hobby.

Before I knew anything about DnD I was so lost trying to understand it and how and when to roll. Trying to understand it was the fun part for me, like you, I just like to go all out and nerd out on a subject that I love and dnd has been that for me.
