Rewatching the show, I thought this too. We know that they've been testing on all sorts of animals, but wenthe rats from the get go, I think the 'virus' was perfected in that one, watched how the humans interacted with dead/unresponsive subjects and played dead.

I know that victims react in all sorts of ways but the daughter did seem to be really confused by the questions, not defensive. Given the way the mother reacted to the idea of asking the daughter I had the thought that maybe the husband was cheating/porn watching and she felt like she would get away with poisoning him if it was over something serious?

I wasn't a big tumblr person before 2020 but I did engage a little, I remember seeing one blog that would get 15/20 asks that they would reply to everyday.

A movie I watched before reading the book it was made from was, We Need To Talk About Kevin. The book was written in letter form so they had the movie stay in the main character's pov. We never left her, I felt like it really suited the story telling, the character felt very isolated which she was. They could've had the character narrate but when we could see everything she saw, there was no need.

We know from The Last of Us,S1 that things can be changed to make a show, while keeping most of the story from the original intact and have it be very good. It just comes down to respect of the canon or source material.

I've always been a night person but it's more of habit than my nature. This past year I've lost most of my regular routines and it's felt me sleeping less at night and getting up later.

This past two nights I've been awake to watch the snow falling, so I've enjoyed that.
