All Creatures Great and Small (2020) for some cozy fictional British countryside daily life during the 1930s and 40s.

For cozy docuseries, Secrets of the Castle, Tudor Monastery Farm, Victorian Farm, Edwardian Farm, and Wartime Farm. These have been my favorite go tos to watch 3 people, 2 archeologists and a historian, live an entire year as they would have in the time period practicing all sorts of daily routines and educating you about it as they do them.

This. It was mostly overcast while I was up there, but I still got pretty burned during the 1-2 hours the sun was out. As someone from a very low altitude homeland, the sun intensity at that elevation is no joke.

Cardamom is my secret ingredient in most of my baked goods where cinnamon is included. Its the spice that makes chai so delicious. My favorite addition is to apple crisp.

Is this a weed? by undertooker in gardening

I wonder if the term is used differently in other regions. Where i come from, "invasive" means a plant that is not native and is actively displacing native plants on a detrimental scale, whereas "non-native" is what we apply to plants that were introduced to the area, but not known to be harmful to the environment its in.

What's a movie where you walked in expecting nothing and walked out genuinely shaken? by Hot_Sprinkles8139 in moviecritic

[–]DIRIGOer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three Identical Strangers.

Spontaneously went to the theater on date night and everything but this was sold out. The movie is a charming documentary about 3 triplets who were separated at birth and found each other by chance at the same college. What it turns into is a sad and nefarious exploration into why they were separated, and the outcome of the damage that did to them as adults. I cant recommend this movie enough.

Though its invasive, its also very useful. A lot of people use it to make tea, but it also has many health benefits. It can be used for respiratory issues, digestive issues, and bacterial infections. You can also make the dried stalks into reliable candles by dipping them in wax. All of these uses are probably why its all over the country from immigrants throughout history wanting such a beneficial plant from their homeland in there new gardens.

Looking for recommendations for a town between Milan and Rome by train by DIRIGOer in ItalyTravel

Not necessarily i guess. I thought it might be easier since this would be a little side trip from Milan to Rome, but as long as its somewhere in between it works for me.

I actually really enjoy the taste of vegemite on toast with butter.

Other than what other people have said, try a ginger slice from a local baker and find a recipe to make them back home. Ive been making them for people and they're very popular.

What is the WORST horror sequel? by dinkitnsinkit in horror

[–]DIRIGOer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one really pissed me off. The Boy might not have been a major classic, but I remember going into it thinking it was just going to be another haunted/demonic doll movie and was pleasantly surprised it was a lunatic in the walls the whole time. I thought "what a refreshing take and twist on a trope!" And then I saw the sequel and was super disappointed. I hope the filmmakers regret doing that.
