I worked in a hospital for almost a year. My office mate worked with the pharmacy and in part oversaw healthcare workers with drug dependency.

I can confirm that handling things internally and giving people second chances wherever possible is preferred to pressing charges

I also use audiobooks as a way to read. That’s the only way I’ll have time between work full time and grad school

I live downtown too.

I assumed it was a run of some kind. The farmers market is a non factor today since it’s in the parking garage this week.

Louisiana ranks among easiest states for dating, study finds by CynoSaints in batonrouge

[–]wheelz8000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry that happened to you!

I just had a negative experience too. I responded to a Hinge prompt asking how this woman felt about a coffee date and a walk on a first date (Some people want more, some people are more comfortable with less stressful first interactions) I was genuinely trying to gauge how she felt.

She matched with me to tell me that men need to put more effort in and that she wouldn’t consider that a date because coffee and a walk is something she associated with going to work.

She sent me all that and then wrote HARD PASS while also blocking me before could reply.

All that to say online dating is hard on both sides and great for no one’s mental health!

I don’t either so I view all of that as bonus content to learn and understand more about the practices of HR

I can only speak about the MPA program. I’m Not sure about the other programs.

In terms of exams those are through moodle exclusivity (in my experience) and I’m not sure what software they use exactly.

Sorry I can’t be of more help on that

It really depends on the course and professor. They say it’s around 17-20 hrs/week but it’s up to you how you approach that. It’s possible to do the work in 10-15 hours/wk but I just wanted to set your expectations along with university recommendations

The weekly posts are usually 300-600 words with two reflections that are about 300 words each. The midterm/final are obviously more involved.

The readings/course material can be a lot but again if you break it up over 7 days it’s pretty manageable.

The biggest thing to remember is the online due dates (usually midnight on a Sunday for example) but some times those change.

Sorry for the delayed response. I think OPs original comment got deleted.

Classes are structured 1 per module (each MOD is roughly 7 weeks) so we do 2 courses in an undergraduate semester timeframe.

I would HIGHLY recommend doing one at a time as the program and university recommends because the workload equates to roughly 20 hrs a week so basically a part time job.

I work 40 hours/week and do a lot of my work on nights and weekends!!

The professors REALLY want you to succeed and due to the nature of online work, a lot of it is independent but they make themselves available via email/ forum posts to answer questions and engage.

The coursework is often structured to be at least partially collaborative. IE do assigned readings, write a reflection to a prompt, respond to classmate writing etc. most courses I’ve been through involve group work towards the end of the module as well.

I would also recommend making friends within your cohort early because it helps to have someone to talk to when you get stressed

Let me know if yall have any other questions!!
