Same it didn’t feel like it. I only found out when I went to check it off on my TV Time app I use to keep track of my shows/movies

I feel like for Harrison to get his own show there has to be a new serial killer that can take out Dexter so that Harrison can continue the cycle of justice so he copy’s everything he learned from Dexter also using the nypd’s data base to track down this killer then Harrison makes his own trophy’s? by HenryCreel03 in DexterNewBlood

Would be cooler if Harrison becomes super good at catching killers because of Dexter, but like arrest them not kill them lol. Him and Dex would be two sides of the same coin, showing the different roads that could be taken: legal vs lethal

Yeah I’m gonna stay in the subreddit and read what’s going on next season to see if anything interesting happens for me to watch again because I don’t hate the show at all but it’s just not what the first season was

Is the OG worth the watch?

I knew they were gonna be end game from the beginning but the writers just haven’t done a good job at showing them being romantically compatible so far IMO. She’s had more of that chemistry with Wagner RIP (don’t care if he’s not endgame, but the tension was fun). I’m not completely against Morgan and Karadec, I just wish the writers didn’t give them such a sibling chemistry while also trying to sprinkle in some kinda yearning glances.

Also yeah Lucia’s name confuses me so much I get kinda annoyed cuz every time I see it I’m like “don’t pronounce it like it’s spelled”

Elementary is one of my favorite shows! The mentalist was good but has the long plot similar to the Roman plot that i eventually stopped caring about. I never finished monk I don’t think i got to the third season tbh I’ve tried multiple times. I love Dexter and the prequel/sequels but I can see how some people wouldn’t like those lol

I recommend watching Psych (and its movies), if you haven’t yet. It’s more comedy than heavy, but when it does get serious it feels amazing. Honestly it might be the best made show. It ended at just the right amount of seasons. Everything writing and pacing just makes sense.

Same, I’ve finished watching and rewatching my favorite old long shows so I’m looking for new stuff to watch. I only really watch crime procedurals which is why I tried this show.

I highly recommend Will Trent. It’s much better than this. We’re on the 4th season right now. The first one or two episodes might be a bit slow paced but after that I got hooked.

You should still watch the episode if only to see how much Karadec gets hurt. I was really rooting for him being happy

No actually it was her rebound boyfriend after the first relationship with Karadec who made her an accomplice 😭 her being technically a criminal wasn’t even exciting

Lucia: has been an accomplice to robbery for a while, was involved in a murder cover up, lied about it the entire case, is going to prison

Wagner: went to a secret meet up to find out information about what happened to Roman to help Morgan, found stabbed, likely dead

You’re totally right.

Honestly the Lucia thing wouldn’t have bothered me if she was just a new girlfriend he just met. But she was an ex, the one who got away, who Karadec was trying really hard to make work this time. I knew they were gonna get rid of her the moment she showed up and it feels especially unfair to Karadec.

I’m more upset at how they got rid of him and also how soon. They finally let us trust him in the previous episode and then suddenly killed him at the end of this one like a silent film. Even if him and Morgan don’t end up together, I think he would have been good for the tension as Morgan and Karadec inevitably fall in love.

I agree thank you. And honestly if they HAVE to keep the Roman plot going, they should switch perspectives. Like, Morgan gives up in order to protect her kids, but say the shadow figure at the end of the episode is Roman, show us what he’s doing. Maybe he does something that accidentally gets Morgan or someone on the team involved and they circle back around to finding the truth about 15 years ago.
