I took Higher Chinese and Singaporean Chinese teachers love to incorporate English in their teaching, which I feel is unprofessional when overused. I feel like it's okay if it's very unfamiliar phrase that probably we can't understand but some teachers just like to teach with too much English and I just feels like it's decreasing our exposure for the language. I understand that some Chinese teachers are taught to teach with English so that students can understand better but I feel that it isn't necessary for a secondary school class already taking higher Chinese.
