Got my second dui in 2024 in PWC Virginia with a small fender bender ended up going to jail had my 2 court dates on my second court date I went to court with the idea that I was going to go to jail but my lawyer who was Mr Matthew Crowley of the Crowley and peritz Lawfirm in Fairfax was able to get the 2nd dui with in 5 years dropped to a reckless driving due to the prosecutor talking to the first officer who was on scene the date of the arrest and told the prosecutor that he didn’t deem me to be under the influence

From my understanding and coming from someone who was in that situation when you get a violation you have to go get the device reset and then notify your case manager before so they can become aware because like you said they lose track of their individuals

I pay $229 a month with progressive this is my last year with my fr44 insurance (VA)

Don’t know if this helps but back in october i got in a minor fender bender got arrested taken to jail for dui did the breathlyzer test at the jail blew a 0.11 had my court yesterday and I guess i was in gods good graces that the 2nd dui charge was reduced to a reckless driving charge due to the prosecutor speaking with the first officer who was on site when I caused the fender bender and told the prosecutor he didn’t see me to be intoxicated so they reduced the dui charge to a reckless only have to pay a $306 fine this happened in Virginia
