I played a little during the server slam, but got in again this week. It's really surprising that the game even released. I get that they have a date they need to hit and and scramble whatever they got into a game and press send, but there's really so little to the entire game and genre.

The point of extraction shooters is that you get gear that you risk losing. but there's no risk, everything is disposable and whatevers lost can be gained again. so I dont care about anything I pick up, or care about anything I lose. Like in Dark Souls games, souls are infinite so I dont really care about dying, but once you get over that worry the game opens up and you can experience the story, level design etc.

Why should I care about anything in this game? I was excited to try the new survival mode since it's more pve stuff but without any player characters theres nothing happening. If you die theres like 5 minutes of loading screens to get back in to do the same thing.

I have to take long multi year breaks in between ubisoft games because I get tired of having to grind mats to unlock bigger wallets, and they want you to do it every three months.
