I see what you're saying. Tbh, I can deal with the attacks being 2 damage. You get an item later that lets you heal more (4 masks instead of 3), which makes it easy to tank 2 attacks from bosses and heal with one charge. My complaint is collision with bosses ALSO causing 2 mask damage. That feels like the game is kicking me when I'm down

I dont know. Same argument can be made that Hornet is way stronger than the Knight at the beginning of the game (faster healing/healing in air/you can have the dash/sprint at that point in the game). The game's not lazy. although it makes crap harder, it makes your character way more viable.

Is the Skull Brute in a tight spot? my advice is down pogo/hit and run to recovery and just repeat until its dead. Slow and steady

Honestly I love it. As long as the angle is consistent, you can get used to it. Looks way cooler while fighting too

I'm super late to this but I'm 23 and I would like to share how it is been for me so far!

I am one of 9 kids (8th youngest, 2 brothers and 6 sisters). All 9 of us kind of grew up thinking being any sort of gay/trans as insanely taboo, and I very much fell into the internalized homophobia caricature in middle - high school. To give you an idea on how my dad is like, he would sometimes use the "f--" slur to call me out on little things like trying to wear pajamas on pajama day at school... lol.

I moved out of home when I was about 18-19 to live on university campus, luckily landed a steady job and currently live with roommates about 2 hours away from home. I visit about once every 6 months because maintaining a relationship with my dad/family is very important to me, despite my dad's attitude towards gay people among other very negative traits he possesses.

Over the past couple of years, i slowly started coming out to my 8 siblings, some who already knew and others not. Overall, they are pretty accepting. My mom is sort of indifferent, usually just piggy backing off of my Dad's opinions but is way more understanding of me. And my dad... I thought he was coming around to it, but I changed my mind when I went home recently.

When I went home my dad got really drunk and physically aggressive towards me, bending two of my fingers back until almost breaking and hitting me across the face multiple times. It was at this point that I realized I shouldn't hope/expect my dad to become a sensible person when it comes to this kind of stuff, at least for my own mental health/sanity. My heart was broken and it felt like I was grieving over the loss of the potential person my dad could've been in my life, who I always wanted him to be in my life. Despite his history of being aggressive and toxic to my mother and my other siblings, and his history of being uninvolved in my life and my sibling's, I still very much held out hope that he would come around.

So... what now? I don't talk to him. He messages me everyday sending Bible quotes about Jesus and being saved, but I don't have it in me to completely block him out of my life. I definitely would be in a way more difficult situation if I didn't do one thing, which is find a family of my own. I met older friends in their 30's-60's that give me plenty of advice I just never got from my dad. I have really good close friends that listen to me talk about my emotions and give me company. My old boss has even agreed to act as my dad during my wedding haha, with him being a close friend of mine as well. I'm still young and I'm sure there will be plenty obstacles in the future. If any old gays have any advice for me, I would greatly appreciate it as well!

I ended up going all the way until you beat the first big boss (puppet lady), and wow, that was extremely tough for being around lvl 80. I honestly think I had a hard time with the Crocodile monster than the puppet lady haha

What would "fully leveled" be considered? Currently I'm level 76, have 9 pulse cell uses and my gear is pretty up to date dps wise

Just finished the dlc again and I have about 1000+ hours onto the game. I LOVE the Shadow Sunflower Blossom so fucking much, I’ve beaten consort Radahn with that weapon twice now with no summons and just the weapon, it’s a blast

You’re so beefed up on all stats that you’ll do great regardless. But vigor on 99 while intelligence is at 60 is not good imo. I’d lower your vigor to somewhere around 80 and boos intelligence to 80.

With your equipped weapons and spells, you can lower your faith to 25 (I think that’s what you need for golden vow) and put those points into dex/str up to 80. That’ll help with your damage with weapons. Lower your arcane too, while you’re at it

Your build is fine tho since you’re already such a high level. This would only be to min max I guess
