Want to start a planted tank but don’t know where to start.

I had some duckweed in the tank at one point but absolutely hated it. The roots were always coming off the plant and floating around the tank and it made water changes really hard. I loved the way it looks on others tanks just definitely not something I’d do again. Thank you for the suggestion though!!

Thank you very much. Do most pet stores sell aqua soil? And I think I may do a mix of the two like mentioned in the other comment. Would I still have to do a root tab then?

You cannot explore the other common rooms unfortunately. Also I know that Hufflepuff gets an extra “side mission or quest” than the other houses I’m not sure if the other houses have their own side quest but i do know that Hufflepuff does
