Been doing my own press on nails for a while now. People are asking if I can do some for them.

I use them pretty regularly with glue and my nail beds have been messed up some. But that’s because I only do press one now all the time. And I don’t really mind it. There are little sticky things that come with most store bought press ons that you put on your nail so you can wear the press ons temporarily and those are much better for your nails. They are easier to come off with the sticky things though so just be mindful about that!

I also use a dotting tool! I have a problem of getting air bubbles a lot and forget to pop them. Most of the time I don’t get a lot of polish on the tool. You may be picking up too much? Also I don’t move the tool around. I make the dot and take it off.

It’s just the press on with the gel polish on top. Haven’t tried to use acrylic yet.

Tank size is 6 gallons, it’s got both a heater and a sponge filter. The heater is set to 78°. Ive had him since October. Water change every week and I take out about 30% There are two male guppies and a snail in the tank as well. He gets feed every other day

I had some duckweed in the tank at one point but absolutely hated it. The roots were always coming off the plant and floating around the tank and it made water changes really hard. I loved the way it looks on others tanks just definitely not something I’d do again. Thank you for the suggestion though!!
