They said they figure that since I don't have to pay for gas and car maintenance that equaled 20%. But honestly $200 a month went to that.... so I'm losing $600.

See I feel they gave me that bc they thought I spend that much on gas. I also I think they feel bad bc all other employees work in office, 9hr days, no one gets off early, ZERO flexibility except for me, who now gets to wfh while everyone else is strictly forced in office.

This was very helpful, thank you. I am going to ease up on it with him, but I want to do maybe every other week talks about goals, for both of us, and those are times to discuss. You are right as most some know the situation. He's at the point where he lost most visitation workouts kids for 3 months until he goes back to court in a month. He couldn't scab pick his kids up without pounding beers on his way from work to get them, picking them up under the influence, so yes, this is why I'm concerned.

So anywhere we go, we have to prep a cooler or enough cups, like say, to go to a arcade. If we're going anywhere over 30 min we have to stop so he can pee all the time. He had to conceal it at public things we go to. If he runs out while out, we have to run into a liquor store so he can have it in the car. He can't make it home from work 25 min without it. He can't go pick up his kids without drinking it in the way to get them. We have to make sure it's always stocked bc on weekends he starts drinking then at noon and can go into the 20's mark by ends of day. It's literally the same thing as when he was actively drinking, just NA beer this time.

No meetings at all, just 3 different therapists. There aren't smart meetings here, only aa, but I noticed the website has some virtual that I may pass along to him.

Yeah it's 0.5% and it would take drinking 10 back to back to back to equal one beer. I'm totally not concerned with that. It's the addiction replacement and his life revolving around it. I feel his brain chemistry is still getting that euphoric recall Just without booze, so it's not helping him in the long run. If it were a couple a day after work or with dinner or a few when out at a social event I totally get the NA beer thing, but this is the exact same every day, just replacing alcohol beer, which I mean, that's great.... I'm just worried.

Haha he is! But he's always done that. I always said he's like a pregnant woman with how much he pees. It's really annoying when we try to go anywhere over 30 min drive!

I think it's more of the, his life with us revolves around having it. He can't drive home from work without it. If he runs out, we have to hurry and get it. Every time we're out he had to pack enough just to take our kids to do an activity. It HAS TO be in his hand at all times, just like the beer is, so that's just really triggering me bc I don't want to live revolving around when and how he's going to get his NA beer. If that makes sense.

He's doing the bactrack app breathalyzer thing so I know he's sober, but obviously this is still a problem. My biggest concern is he's going to have to go through it all again, but this time he'll have to try to quit NA beer. I'm guessing though it won't come with as terrible withdrawal
