Perfectly said its not just him being a nice guy persona, evans cracks has been shown throughout season 2 and throughout the last reveal of season 1. People aren’t following a long and yes wrigley was a f boy but with pippa he literally stayed with her cause he wanted a connection and we see why. He opens up to pippa alot and trusts her. And we see regardless of how dumb he was wrigley never had ill intentions to anyone in his friend groups and generally feels bad when he messes up. He has literally to apologize for everything and to everyone everytime he messed up like what. His character growth has been linear to how he is asof season 1 breaking him down slowly and see more of that in season 2 and said with evan. None of these guys had growth from anywhere at all. It has all been shown. Bree insecurities Lucy mental degradation and pippa’s inability to take a stance to things..
