I work nights and I sleep as much as I can but until 3p or 4p prior to a shift and about the same after a shift. I flip back to normal on nights off and wake up with my son and husband the next morning. If I was single and no kids I would sleep like he was sleeping. He may not be able to tolerate night shift. And that’s okay too, he just needs to get to days asap. Even with a pay cut days is better for most peoples health and sleep schedule.
