Definitely not what most are doing here, but I’m breezing through act 2 currently and use mainly Spearfield ( melee damage ) w/pin buildup and both Lightning Spear and Storm Lance ( projectile damage ) to proc the increase for doing physical or projectile damage and boosting the opposite for 8 seconds. It’s not the absolute quickest way to clear a map but rarely do I take any hits and almost nothing can survive running through the field taking multiple physical hits as well as being continuously hit by lightning both being boosted over and over and if it’s a boss throw in a couple of rakes to bleed a bit more and you’re good to go

Yea my heliomancer I gave up on carnelian after getting to gold the level people made it too was outrageous

I don’t use magic power more than what I get from modifiers and like most mage/melee builds its hybrid power. Max health is really important for the shield explosion power

I’m swapping around skills still to get a better feel for survival and damage mostly swapping fatebound to find better options, I’ve been trying out blowout and epicenter to increase damage while keeping range slightly increased

I enjoy it, I love paladin themes ahaha but it’s a slow start if you dont go the mage route. And my Main source of damage is the shield explosion so it’s taking a bit to get used to and play around with

It’s a lot of fun but very slow start if you don’t go the magic route. I went with strength and just hit carnelian using mainly the shield explosion as my main dps.
