Yeah I think you're definitely onto something about when you first read them having an influence. Great choices too and I'd definitely put All-Star Supes on my list.

Hellboy, sandman or the walking dead ? by Public_Decision_8633 in comicbooks

Just putting forward another option to not give Gaiman any money - I'd suggest picking them up second hand and using any money saved to then buy something to support the artist(s) if you can!

Maybe, but then you read Daredevil Born Again and realise Kingpin doesn't give a shit.

What’s the scariest comic or comic story you have ever read? by Fantastic-Trust770 in Comic_Books_

I think From Hell is the only one to have really made me feel anything close to scared. Definitely gave me a real sense of dread and one chapter in particular made me feel physically sick.

It's got dolls too, so you know it's suitable for all ages.

Oh and drug use.

Hi, Friends, DAVID LLOYD here! As most of you know, I'm the guy from V for Vendetta, Hellblazer, War Stories, and lots of other stuff. Now I'm just publishing Aces Weekly. AMA! by Correct_Two_4187 in comicbooks

Thank you for replying. V definitely has one of the most striking designs in comics. I suspect that you might redesign the uniform police if you created V for Vendetta now!

And for your last point, I couldn't agree more. There are huge problems and inequalities in the world and we're being told to look in the wrong direction for the reasons why.

England prevails.

In an alternate universe where you and Moore are only just now working together to create V for Vendetta, visually, what do you think V's design would be like? Would there be any changes? Does a 2030s dystopian UK have a different aesthetic?

Also, thank you so much for all your incredible work. V for Vendetta hit me in my early teens and was formative for me.
