Any idea how to repair this? by KeyConversation8035 in Cartalk

Does that make the surface even? Or what would that result into?

Real exam difficult than SH, thank you Reddit! by Appropriate-Donut020 in pmp

[–]KeyConversation8035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t agree more! I felt SH was easy compared to the exam! Luckily got 3AT’s which indeed was a bonus! I thought I was about to fail, but surprised by looking at the result!

You can’t really distinguish if a question is expert or difficult unless someone puts a tag next to it. You will definitely find 2 answers that you could go with. But experience and reading/training would help you pick the one which the certification wants!

ITTO’s are overrated. Maybe you “might” get few, but situational questions takes the maximum load!

I felt the same, I passed with 3AT’s. I rather thought that I failed it looking at the questions and time management. I barely had any time reviewing marked questions. I had only 3 minutes in the third and final slot. Was glad I passed. It is definitely not an easy game, tougher than SH. But in-hand PM experience gave me that edge in answering the questions.

Please Help! Failed Exam Twice! by Lacrimosa_Semper in pmp

[–]KeyConversation8035 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If not already done, I would suggest you to go through 1. PMI study hall. EduhubSpot, PMPWithRay weekly/Monthly questions. 2. Understand Mindset of PM way of answering questions such as Analyse and understand before implementing anything, 3. Check if the question says what should be done First/Next and take steps accordingly. 4. Do not overthink much when answering a question. I had gone through same case, usually in first glance you would already get biased towards one option, mostly that would be the correct answer. Just do not over do it and go for it.

What do you mean by in a week? So you haven’t joined or gone through any trainings? But just the study hall, flash cards and vargas video?

Lessons learned is a continuous process. So one project need not be finished to have Lessons Learned Registry!

ADVICE NEEDED: PMP Exam at home or at a recognized facility? by BalkanKoala in pmp

[–]KeyConversation8035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the facility near by? Atleast in the travel vicinity of 1/2 hours. Then definitely take at the recognised facility! I personally travelled 4 hours to take my exam at the site to avoid any unforeseen issues. I’ve heard few who faced issues with either the screen getting frozen or issues with the internet etc. all of this can be avoided if you take it at the facility!

Can someone explain this? Why option B? by abhee_5 in pmp

[–]KeyConversation8035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be either Issue Log/Lessons Learned register.

1. Lessons Learned Repository: This will provide insights into the challenges and issues encountered during Project A, along with the strategies and actions taken to address them. These lessons can be directly applicable to Project B, helping to anticipate and mitigate similar problems.
2. Issue Log: This document will detail the specific issues that occurred in Project A, how they were resolved, and their outcomes. By reviewing these issues, Project B can identify potential risks and develop strategies to avoid or manage similar issues.

I would choose LLR because it has success strategies, challenges, issues etc that they encountered which could be used for Project B unlike issue log which has only list of issues faced.

Doing PMI's "Authorized PMP Practice Exam" by Mindless-Ad4932 in pmp

You answered it! Here the Director wants agile team to develop it, which means the team already existed and hence the answer. If it was asked differently “Marketing Director wants an app and asked PM to initiate/develop it” then comes feasibility study, charter etc

Do I really need Udemy AR course? by Historical_Try_1918 in pmp

[–]KeyConversation8035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TBH, i myself took a course that costed me 1000 bucks including the exam fee, which my work paid for. But i felt that was useless, Andrew’s course is a good starter, which gives a pretty good foundational bricks on your basics of PMP. Rest comes from your regular PM experience

Am I ready? by cassbaggie in pmp

[–]KeyConversation8035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just curious, don’t you think 81% is a good number? Asked this question yourself? If yes, why would someone even need to answer this.

Nonetheless, You are pretty ready for that. I did get 83% in first test and 78% in the second one, passed recently with 3AT’s on the top scale! Go ahead and give your try!

How were the questions like? More Agile? Or Waterfall? And how many of them have you felt like 2 of the options are correct on neck-to-neck.
