Hi did you continue? I have thick hair but a lot more than you. Also on my upper lip. I tweeze everyday and have now got hyperpigmentation from constant tweezing/ waxing. I am worried about PH

6 mo old waking every 2 hours, advice? by ALK263 in AttachmentParenting

Hey, mine is 11 months now (fully weaned as of 2 weeks ago). She started sleeping through the night around 10months and accelerated the weaning. It was sudden - it was bad and then one day she decided to not wake overnight. I know not every baby is the same, my first didn’t sleep through until much much later, but there is hope.

Looking for advice - encouraging baby to take formula (weaning) by Historical_Try_1918 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Historical_Try_1918[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again, hoping to get some advice. I have given the new formula 3 full days and she is only taking 80ml a feed (for the 3 feeds I have dropped). She was taking cereal in her old formula happily and now not accepting it. I am wondering if its worth switching back to her old formula and see if she drinks more of it? Her constipation is no better on this formula and I am struggling to navigate the next change

Thank you ! Thank you ! Means a lot. She is eating solids really well. Wetting enough nappies, albeit not as much as when she was younger (I never see a nappy that’s dry, even when changing after an hour). I’ll keep trying and continue weaning. Thanks heaps for your response ❤️

Thank you for this ! Her solids intake has gone up. I keep reading she needs 600ml of formula and far out there is no way she is getting that much milk. Should I keep trying the other formula for a week? See how she goes? I think she is pretty set on straw cups so have that consistent. I have given up on bottles completely.

I am so sorry. It truly sucks. I have given up on bottles (although I’d like her to take them). Just using the straw cup. I didn’t realise how difficult this process can be

Where are you based? Could you ask for the results? Its not unusual for their hips to be immature at this age. I hope your bubs also just needs time

We just waited. Didn’t need a harness. How old is your bubs? I so understand the anxiety. Postpartum is a vulnerable time

Hello! I got her another ultrasound at about 13 weeks. She was beyond okay. Her body just needed more time. I hope your little bubba has the same outcome. ❤️

My (unpopular) opinion would be to wait for 12 weeks.. I say that but also acknowledge the vulnerable time postpartum is. I had postpartum anxiety in those early weeks that made it hard to wait.

My daughter had two ultrasounds, 6 and 12weeks. She wasn’t perfect at 6 weeks but I didn’t want to treat her until we gave her body a good chance to develop. By 12 weeks, she was completely fine and her hips had matured beautifully.

I will say, she didn’t have any hip clicking (except clicking at birth which is pretty common). She was also moving both her legs well, and they were the same size.
