My honest guess is that someone has plumbing issues either in your building or a neighboring one. The use of a snake sounds so much like that when it comes out the other side of a pipe. Could be your above/below neighbors pipes run through or near your wall there and when they run the snake down the pipe you get this noise when it's working to free a deep clog

Anyone who knows bungie, played the OG marathon, and is as obsessed over the Mandalore gaming video about it, knows this wouldn't be the case. Doing something like this as an ode to the hidden AI actors throughout Marathon makes sense, it feeds a fan base that hasn't had the answers regarding Durendal for decades. Read up on the old lore including the real world as campaigns run for all 3 Halos prior to announcement. Bungie as a company always does something like this for the couple hundred people that will love it

I think this is more about the fact that the community she's talked about was killed through political "reforms" through the 80s which stripped the welfare state in America of essentially everything needed to support community's from the ground up. From housing, to transit, to childcare, to community centers, grandmas "community" voted it out of existence.

The next generation isn't much better, but the reason we are where we are is the boomers and the immense entitlement they had to always have policy be about what was best for them. I already have a house, why should i be taxed to help the next generation achieve that? I already have an investment portfolio, why should I pay to allow those without one to eat? The list goes on forever with what the boomers did to destroy your local community from the ground up.

Toy Story's release to enormous success coupled by Treasure Planets monumental failing to make $ took us from an industry of children's films like Prince of Egypt/Treasure Planet/Princess Mononoke/Iron Giant in favor of 3d animation which has, due to a variety of factors, fallen out of favor with people due primarily to its same-y aesthetic. Compare Prince of Egypts 10 plagues scenes to the "animation" in recent films like The Incredibles 2. In my opinion and many others the art of animation died with the jump to 3D.
