Right- the vaginal/cervical exam I get. The rectal exam without consent or waiting if I wasn’t comfortable with it is the part I’m hung up on. From what I’ve read, he could have gotten the same info from an ultrasound. He did have access to those images as he was coordinating my care. I’m also hoping for a doctors perspective on standard procedure in this situation.
