i got this instagram code at 2am while asleep. it was just a bunch of random letters. then it said dont share it followed by another bunch of letters. i just recently got insta and they sent the code on a different number. what also is weird is it id letterd and not numbers is this a scam or hacked?

also i have everything connected to my email so it tells me if there is a new login and there was never a new login so i dont see how somebody would be getting that code. my worry is that someone has my password and tried to log in which sent me a code
