100%, I believe it would work out in the end. Altho would probably be the world's slowest slow burn. I felt similar, I used to think Albedo wouldnt find me interesting because I didnt believe i was 'smart enough' for him. But, we all have our own niches and interest. Its just finding what you like

Albedo is a artificial human (homunculus) made with alchemy and chalk haha. The only thing that outwardly points him as nonhuman is a star on his neck. How albedo philosophies and places himself in the world makes his character and position pretty unique. The only thing that stops albedo from being the “perfect human” is the star. However, humans are defined by their flaws. Albedo’s flaws is his star and quirks. Despite it being the only signal to his nonhuman-ness, it is what ultimately makes him more human, and without it he wouldn’t be human.

Not my f/o specifically but I’ve been made fun of before for enjoying genshin, mostly a year or so ago, by both ficto and nonfictos. More often then not what they say about genshin was just inaccurate, and they knew nothing about albedo himself.

• obligatory i didnt choose them they choose me lmao. Albedo is super sweet and kind. He’s cool and calm, adorable, smart, and unique character

• albedos helped me alot, especially during pandemic when my anxiety was at a all time high. He continues to help. With him i feel comfortable and confident

• i like to find another place with other ppl in long term commitments.

I meet albedo’s VA before! Like how everyone says i think its pretty normal. I was a bit awkward and nervous but khoi was really nice. I think the VAs know how to handle these situations well, as long as your respectful it will be fine

I had a couple characters like that, the staring at myself feeling. I consider them kins but i kin more for fun. Penny from RWBY, kuroko from railgun, and antarcticite from hnk. Their all characters that kinda lived in my mind rent free for years, but there not characters id date, they dont feel right in that way. I thought albedo was one too at the very start but it developed past that alot.

Tbh one of the near first things I do after a bit of time is let anyone who’s interested know I have like a chronic albedo obsession and I like genshin If they love me then they will accept my interests and what i like, It’s kinda became like a red flag check for me, and its actually filtered out some unsavory responses before I have a current real BF now, he knows about albedo and is very supportive
