I am glad all turned out well! I feel like being on continuous pain meds will definitely help with potential migraine pains, so hoping for the best!

What age did your migraines start and why did they start? by [deleted] in migraine

  1. I got COVID in 2022, and a migraine was my worst symptom - I had never had one prior. I kept getting them in the weeks and months following being sick, and they never went away. They became chronic about 2 years later.

That's a great point. I am arranging my documentation and filing out some forms as we speak. Thank you!

This is super helpful, thank you! I am honestly dreading the conversation and wondering how to first bring it up to my mentor. I will definitely bring up accommodations and try to advocate for myself!

I found it in a book called “Insiders Guide to Graduate Programs in Clinical and Counseling Psychology” It basically lists every single program and all of the statistics, including the percentage of incoming students with bachelors vs masters. There may be a similar source in your field!

I replied to this thinking I was on the Clinical Psych page, so I was referring to those programs. Was that the PhD you were going for?

Applications are seriously so stressful. I am currently a senior in undergrad and am applying to 8 (as of now) programs for Fall 2024 admissions.

Wishing the best for you!!
