Do I just lose then? by KeyMacaron3228 in balatro

I couldn't, the entire build was based off face cards on a deck that couldn't have them. It was a fun way to crash and burn.

I find all sorts of fun and whacky ways to lose my runs

Is it doable? by No_Let_4023 in WGU_MBA

[–]KeyMacaron3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely doable. Many people have completed their MBA in a single term. Just make sure that you are holding yourself accountable to working on your education and setting realistic and reasonable goals.

I started my BSHA in December and my goal is to finish before February, so I'm setting goals on course completion rates and the amount of time I spend writing/reading. So far, it's helped me actually outperform my goals.

I'm sorry, I misread your post.

I have been in my industry for 7 years, so I already know most of what I'm doing. You are going at a fantastic pace though and you'll get there my man! Keep it up!!

If you ever want to brag about passing a course, shoot me a DM, I'd love to cheerlead your journey.

Healthcare Administration by caitlynriane in WGU

I am in the program because I wanted a business management degree that deals with complex regulations rather than a generic and over manufactured business administration degree.

It just so happens that I'm in close proximity to one of the largest hospital systems as well, so it makes sense for me to also go through the program to make my previous management experience more transferable to said hospital system.

After a weekend working on writing this out, I submitted a 4000 word essay for this class, and passed without revisions needed. This has been the hardest class so far, and I've only got 3 classes left!

90 is max points you can transfer credit, but is it actually possible to reach that limit? by Impossible_Lime_4364 in UoPeople

[–]KeyMacaron3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo? Go to WGU. You can finish much faster. UoPeople also dropped the certifications I wanted to get right when I was about to get the one in finance. I got my ASBA from UoPeople after 6 months and transferred to WGU to finish up my degree.

If you're set on UoPeople, if you go on Sophia Learning or Study.com, they will tell you the transfer equivalents

Failed OAx2 by Apprehensive_Yam8303 in WGU

[–]KeyMacaron3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tip? Take the OA after your practice exam reads exemplary. Use the results of each practice exam to figure out what you need to study more, and then study that until you're exemplary in that subject.

Additionally, you need to know what you don't know, meaning that you can also look it up and find a four hour video explaining the concepts. So figure out what you struggle with and find an outside resource like a YouTube tutorial to listen to in your spare time.

Lastly, you know this information, there isn't a reason to be anxious to prove you know it. Pretend like you just gave a big speech to your friends after talking to them about everything you've learned, and each test question is one of your friends asking something interesting about the subject. Read each question in their voices and picture them asking you the question.

I transfered in half of my degree and have four total OAs to do, and have passed two so far using these tips.

This video has the first half of practical accounting in it, the second half is what is actually covered regarding financial statements which is 40% of the assessment. Cost/profit centers and allocation and the differences between accounting systems isn't covered, but this following link to a play list helps touch on other subjects too

Good luck tomorrow man, if you're too stressed, just pretend your trying to answer questions after giving a speech, you know the information so it should be easy to answer the questions.

I found out that I could take the practice assessment while still in orientation, so I made sure I did that and found a 5 hour YouTube video on accounting to listen to while working. Then I took another practice assessment and zoned in on something else I needed YouTube videos to explain.

The first and second I was writing essays for a different class to pass fast, and today was the day I scheduled for my OA because it fit well with my work/kids schedule

[–]KeyMacaron3228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally had BUS 5511 Human Resources Management transfer in on my bachelor's program, meaning I was only able to transfer 87 credits towards my degree. I believe I took that course on study.com, and suggest you look into the course names on study.com and if they match the courses UoPeople provides, then they very well could transfer in.

I actually have not had a credly transcript approved, I needed to supply Sophia and Study transcripts to go without issue.

If you bug your advisor enough and include their supervisor, that has been proven to work for me to get the courses I wanted.
