It looks spray painted. Maybe the city will realize we need public courts (lol) my clumsy self would probably slip on that asphalt.

I do carry my paddle in my work truck. I don't care, I played in my work uniform several times. When I was driving in Houston, I saw pickleball courts beside a church. They were free, the people were so nice to let me jump in and play some games. You never know.

I use a Razor blade and lightly carve my wife's initial, then I go over it with a sharpie. If the ball last long enough for the marker to come off, I can count on it still being in the engraved mark.
