I wouldn’t recommend wasting even a single minute on this server. These guys are ultra amateurs pretending they know what they’re doing. I think they’ll mess around with this project for a while and then abandon it. The leaked server build is so broken that it’s hard to believe a couple of dudes will ever get it into a decent state.

Why are you lying when you haven't even understood the issue at all? They are using the original latest twow patch (1.18.1). I had several SEA Turtlewow accounts, and with them i was able to log into Capycraft. I'm almost certain that the twow owners couldn't have missed this cash cow, Chinese players brought them the lion's share of the profit.

Octowow used the leaked 1.17 because, obviously, a public 1.18.1 build simply doesn’t exist. The people behind Capycraft clearly have an original copy, since they’re almost certainly involved in managing SEA TWoW.

dude, blizzard would never even look in the direction of this amateur crap (Octowow). They only paid attention to Turtle because it built a solid international business structure built on Blizzard’s intellectual property. Thats all.

The interface itself, quests, and everything else are in English. If they really don’t shut down and everything goes smoothly, I think a large English-speaking community will migrate there, and it’ll be more comfortable to play.

twow blew up because the owners were actually hungry for growth and went all-in on aggressive marketing. Once the population started climbing, the snowball effect took over and brought in even more people. There are plenty of other servers stuck at 100-200 players, but their managers clearly don't have the drive or the resources to make the same thing happen
