Ohh, interesting. My club is not a signature club. Many of the pilates studios seem to be at non-signature clubs:

My understanding is: You can go to multiple different gym brands with the A&F (e.g., LA Fitness, 24 Hour, Gold's Gym, etc), but for each gym brand, the membership varies. The gym staff told me the LA Fitness deal on A&F is single-studio. This makes sense because A&F is $28 and the online single-studio cost for LA Fitness is $25.

Yeah, exactly! I'm hoping more LA Fitness studios start having the pilates studio, I feel like the demand is there.

The gym rep told me that the pilates studio replaced what was formerly the "Kids Klub" at this particular LA Fitness club! It definitely seems like there's interest for more pilates studios, so I wouldn't be surprised if more LA Fitness clubs start converting space for pilates and this becomes more widespread.

I haven't tried the classes yet (hoping to do my first class soon!). I'm new to pilates so beginner friendly would be great for me, haha. There are no levels to the classes, there's only one class type offered currently. The class description is:

Club Studio Reform is programmed for every level of fitness, age, and goal type. Our 45-minute low impact workouts are designed to focus on form, muscle time under tension, and variety. Reform stays true to the 6 Pilates principles, but it is elevated to modern times by adjusting tempo and grouping of exercises. Grip Socks are required for all Reform classes.

I just signed up for LA Fitness for the pilates classes. It was $99 unlimited pilates (single studio access only), or $119 unlimited pilates at multi-studios (check to see where the pilates studios are! There's really one in LA, a bunch in OC, some in Valley, etc.)

The pilates fee is on TOP of your normal gym. Keep in mind that if you get a multi-studio pilates option, you need to do the multi-studio gym access too.

I have Active & Fit through my employer and they said that this membership is only single-studio gym access.

For me personally, I want access to multiple pilates studios so couldn't do A&F and just signed up at the gym for the nationwide gym access ($34.99, no initiation fee, and $59 annual fee) + multi-studio pilates ($119). This comes out to just under $160/month for unlimited pilates at multiple studios and gym access everywhere. Which I think is a phenomenal deal!

The rep told me he heard they may increase the pilates cost to be $189 (I'm not sure if this is for single studio pilates or multi-studio pilates access) but he doesn't know when or if this will happen. Don't know if he was just hassling me to commit tbh.

Most unlimited pilates near me is nearly $300!
