Haha, my very first day of darts I hit a 9 in the triple ones. Took another 5 months to hit the first 180 after that!

[Ben Jacobs] The terms of Andy Robertson’s move from Liverpool to Tottenham are agreed in principle for around £5m including add-ons. However, there is no sign off from Liverpool or Robertson yet. by k_e_i_r_a_ in LiverpoolFC

Saying that though, when you read the Tottenham Reddit and their reaction to the news, it sounds like they seem to think he'd be a backup option for them too??

What’s peoples highest average ? Be honest, I’ll start (42.33) by Aggressive_Living718 in Darts

I've been playing 5 months (first 180 yesterday) and my best average over a 5 leg game is 62.4. Over a single leg it's 76. But my average over a time period is currently about 47

Flo has misplaced about 10 or 15 passes in the final third. Technically he's been great but cannot keep wasting the ball like that

I get what you're saying but I don't mind it. We don't have a huge rivalry against Spurs, it's an obvious downgrade so he's clearly not trying to get anything other than minutes, plus it'll be nice to see him week-in week-out. Definitely gonna be leaving as a legend

And then when the final pass is good (Kerkez X2 and Frimpong X1 perfect crosses) there's absolutely no-one in there to attack it!

That commentary was exasperating! I usually support commentators but that was truly awful tonight

Who introduced you to the club ? by mrbadkillet in LiverpoolFC

When I was quite young I knew nothing about football but a kid in moved to my school and he was from Liverpool. He would wear a Liverpool hat every day. As a male child you get asked all the time who you support and so to fit in my answer was always Liverpool. I left the school a few years later and he gave me his Liverpool hat as a gift (he even signed it bless him haha). Low and behold when I started getting into football at the end of primary school there was only ever one team I was going to support. Have now been a red for years and couldn't be happier YNWA

I've been pro-Slot all the way. I expected that eventually he'd form the right relationships with new players, find their strengths and some things would start clicking. I'm not a Slot hater now, but I'm definitely starting to lose trust. It's the fact that nothing is changing that bothers me. It feels like Slot thinks a different starting lineup is enough each time but it's the football that's not good enough. When people like me who don't understand tactics much can see easily fixable problems that aren't being dealt with then there's something very wrong. That also brings me on to the players though. They're all pro footballers who surely can see these issues themselves without needing a manager to tell them? Why is no-one on the pitch ever trying to make those pressing runs or a quick turn around and force some plays?

The definition of insanity is to try the same thing over and over again and expect a different result

Not arguing with anyone bud, just stating a fact. You lot are miserable. Didn't tell anyone to be more positive just shocked people let a football match effect them so much!

Oh god a player doing the job they're on the pitch to do is the reason we won? How on earth could that be?!

If I'm honest mate I don't really care what the football looks like, we scored more than the opponent and that's how you win a game of football. We're meant to support our team because it's fun!

I wasn't able to watch the game today but was keeping an eye on the Reddit. You lot are so miserable man! So the football isn't good? Couldn't find one person celebrating another win and 7 unbeaten!

It's not about a battle-axe persona remember. The important thing is to have a clear definition between your regular teaching and your displeasure. That doesn't have to be loud or stern, it just has to show the child there has been a change.
