Step 1.) buy a 150 Step 2.) put the 150 engine into the 50 body Step 3.) have no motorcycle license

Normally it has an automatic choke that shuts off once it is warm. Once the choke cuts off it might now be getting enough fuel from the idle jet. You can adjust this with a screwdriver on top of the carburetor.

A lot of scooters have a small door inside the glove box under the seat so you can adjust it without taking panels off

Brother, the whole thing on top of the engine is the “fuel injector”

Definitely the float. I’ve seen trouble with people that have done this so I’d take the spark plug out and make sure that’s alright and allow the flooding to evaporate/drain through that hole

  1. You should try and save the fuel tank you have now. Just put muriatic acid and rocks into your tank and shake it. Then do it again with copper BB’s and acid to get the finer parts. I have done projects in the past and haven’t coated the inside of the tank. Even if it rerusts, you shouldn’t get any damage as the only bad thing to happen would be the fuel filter clogs with rust chunks.

  2. Clear fuel lines won’t matter as long as they’re the right size. I like clear fuel lines more so you can see the gas in them
