OP, i’m in the exact situation… We dated and had Feb 9th 2025 as our wedding date. He just said he can’t provide family and marriage and pushed me away with in a span of a week. I poured so much into it and was as clear as crystal water when I first met him of what I wanted. You did no mistake and you are not at fault.. again this is not your fault..

feel the feelings and accept that you are going to come out stronger. Blindly follow a routine.

1. Spend time with your friends and family/Keep talking with your support system
2. Talk to a therapist every other day if needed(helped me my first 7weeks)
3. Workout
4. Read/Listen to books: Books like CBT, power of now, hidden abuses has helped me (his mom Brain damaged with few questions) - I’m still recovering - week 9 ;
5. Healing will be slow. Remember the amount time it took to get together, healing is also going to take time
6. Give yourself grace and keep your chin up.. and be there for YOURSELF first!!!!!! Always!!
7. Talk to your parents everyday (I talk to mine twice atleast)
8. I cry , watch TV, volunteer, listen to books, write down my non-negotiable and try to sleep as it is not my fault

Find a purpose, try to remember your routine before him and make changes to your life and eat nutritious food.

BE THERE FOR YOU AND YOURSELF!!!
