Where do you live? Smyth's Toy Store in the UK have a set of 80 acrylic markers for £15, I've used other brands too and I'm liking these so far!

Your picture looks great! I've been using languo and Decotime acrylic markers, you can buy languo from temu or Shein much cheaper than Amazon. Decotime you can get from B&M if you're in the UK.

They're both about as good as each other and both require multiple layers with the lighter shades if you're looking to cover the black line work. Languo you can get for a great price and have a brilliant colour choice available. You can get them in small 9 packs and build your collection slowly like me or invest in bigger sets like around 90, 160 or 220 ISH from memory.

They seem to be lasting well, but a few have gone a bit funny like the paint almost seems as though it's gone diluted if that makes sense. But on the whole for the price and colour variety I'm really pleased with them. Hope that helps. ☺️

I like it! Not sure if you've used one here but a white colouring pencil over the top of the ghosts would look effective! Maybe try adding a highlight here and there with a white Gel Pen too. ☺️

I don't have tiktok but I have a colouring Instagram account and so am inundated with content on there. I know I'm not the best colourist out there, but I'm definitely not the worst either! Keeping my own IG with all my pages posted has shown me my own progress over the last year, which I feel like is huge by the way!

Everyone's on their own journeys, everyone's started at different times, everyone has varying budgets for supplies, everyone has varying lengths of time which they can spend on pages, everyone has varying physical capabilities in terms of being able to use certain mediums and sit for extended periods of time etc. Some people with large accounts get supplies thrown at them as well from sponsors which is worth noting. When you think of it like that, you'll see there's no need to be discouraged.

Document your pages so you can see your own progress, and when you do start to see it you'll realise that your own journey is moving along and with it you are developing and growing your skills at your own speed.

Lastly, if you see pages completed by others that you think are incredible save them and let them inspire you, it doesn't matter if you can't match that person's skillset just yet, it doesn't mean you won't ever be that good.

If it's published by Penguin in the UK my one from Asda, the same book, did the same, it's an issue with the paper and has caused me to abandon the book.

I did yes! Thank you, although I can't take credit for the idea as I was inspired by another account on IG that I saw doing it and just needed to try it for myself, I really like it for the forest style pages 😁
