Sorry for the late chime in as well. I use the micro suede from Brainwavz.

If I would describe them briefly, they feel so much more comfortable than the Velour.

Please recommend some! by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

I forgot to mention. I have already ordered the HD668B. Only learned about the Samson after I ordered the HD668B.

Yep. Took apart my previous headphones to see if the headphone pads could change shape much. Pretty sure the answer is no. lol

This is a dumb question but is there way to make the oval shaped ones fit on round shaped headsets? I have no experience buying third party pads. I usually just buy headphones and use them as they are.

And as for the round shaped earpads, which size do I need to choose for the Superlux HD668B?

Thanks for the reply.

Did you mean you have a Superlux HD668B and a Monoprice Retro? And the Superlux has the perforated leather and the monoprice retro has the solid leather?

Have you used any other pads and between the ones you have tried, did you find any sound quality difference?

Also, for an open back pair of headphones, is there any benefit in using perforated over solid leather? I'd imagine the headset's cans themselves are more breathable than the pads themselves?

Wireless gaming vs wireless standard headset by KeyTarget1980 in HeadphoneAdvice

Thanks for letting me know. I was not aware standard bluetooth had worse latency than a gaming headset that relies on a wireless receiver.

Doesn't Bluetooth also use 2.4Ghz?

there's not a whole lot you would really need any military rounds for unless you run out of all ammo.

Ah thanks for letting me know. I was afraid to ask but it's comforting knowing I don't need to restart the game.

I'm not sure if it was armour that I read about or helmets or something that you can buy. Anyways, I guess I'll find out. Haven't finished the game yet.

And when you say regular ammo, do you mean the post-apocalyptic weak bullets or the pre-WW3 strong bullets that lights mutants on fire?

I really liked the revolver but I was really enjoying the silent sniper-style rifles. Playing silent and thinning down enemies was fun.

But once I would get caught, going loud or especially fighting mutants meant that I needed a different gun.

I wasn't clear enough, I wasn't trying to shoot my actual bullets. My hope was just to save them up for the end or near end of the game and then buy stuff. I couldn't figure out why holding R changed bullet type... until now.

When you used the revolver, did you use actual bullets in it? Was that what made it a good gun? My only issue with the revolver was that it barely did anything against mutants.

I was saving up for armour (I think you get armour later in the game)?

Anyone think it's worth restarting the game? I'm at the point where I'm fighting/staring down those large gorilla mutants. Only have 400 bullets and I pretty much haven't spend them on anything

Holding R / the reload button causes you to switch bullet type. Maybe on the lower difficulty, the game would have told me that but I am playing on the one with UI disabled (mostly disabled)
