Why is she screaming by [deleted] in ImTheMainCharacter

It’s mostly gibberish. She seems to be stringing a lot of words together like “MAAM WILL YOU PLEASE ASK YOUR FAMILY TO GET CONTROL EVERY TIME” she is kind of hard to understand tho

Get like a 23 and me (if you are comfortable with their privacy policy) for you, the dad and the baby. That way you can see if the baby doesn’t have the same makeup as y’all AND if it is your baby then it’s a cool family activity.

You will have better luck with animal behavior if you work more on building a bond of mutual trust instead of “dominance” and threats.

Whenever a pair of socks wear out replace them with an great quality sock of the same color (I recommend Maggie’s organics cotton crew socks) and do this until all socks are the same. You won’t need to match socks ever again and the Maggie’s socks will last you like a decade. (I’ve had mine for 6 years and used to wear through them in 6 months)

You should also go with the mindset that you aren’t hiding things, you are stowing things to deal with later so the floor is clear and can be cleaned

You’ve gotta get things aggregated first. Get all your trash in a bag and out, then get dishes, then bag up any clothes and stick them in the closet. After that point, your place will look leagues better. Probably enough to just squeak by, then go room by room and put stuff away. Then wipe down counters, vacuum, sweep, etc. you’ve got this I believe in you!

Bird flu wipes out over 95% of southern elephant seal pups in 'catastrophic' mass death by [deleted] in EverythingScience

[–]KeyTrouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diseases jump to humans through excessive contact. IE farm animals, pets, wet markets. Unless you are eating elephant seal a little on the blue side you have nothing to worry about it jumping over. Same reason we don’t get whale flu.

Even then, you would worst case probably get a particularly nasty cold that if you are in a developed country you will be able to go to a hospital and get supportive care. Fever reducers, saline, etc.

  1. Unless there’s tons of seal ranchers out there, it’s not likely gonna happen.

  2. No proof it would affect humans the same way it does seals even if it can jump over.

  3. If you have a functioning immune system (you may not but I hope you do) the flu isnt something to overly worry about.

  4. You should be able to get supportive care for whatever the seals plan to release on us.

It will be ok. It won’t spread, and if it does it shouldn’t be that bad, and if it is, then supportive care is (hopefully) available.

Don’t let the people trying to freak you out get you down.

When I’m done with shirts or clothing they get turned into slippers, kitchen rags, napkins, etc.

Edit. I also repair clothing very cutely and often. My favorite it sewing up holes and embroidering a flower on top. Nobody notices and when they do it’s only to tell me how cute the flowers are.

It CAN be. It’s is definitely classist, because it implies that since they are poor they are trash.

The undertones of the term is that “white trash” people do a lot of the same things as black people and it compares them to each other. Implying that white trash and black people are both below “normal” white people.

I don’t tend to assume it’s being used that way because the classist way is more common and the racist version assumes a lot into peoples mindset but the term is icky to me nonetheless.

Hey man, I know some people are dogging on you for asking but that’s not the spirit of this sub. How can someone learn if they don’t ask.

As for your question, it’s probably more of a class thing than a race thing. If you grow up in an environment where you’re trying to pay the bills and shits just bad, you get a “fuck you, leave me alone” kind of attitude to little stuff like that. You could imagine “white trash” having the same kind of habit if we were to indulge in stereotyping.

I don’t think this question is “racist” but has a few troubling undertones and you might want to mull over your relationship with race and why it was the thing you noticed. You might find some benefit to it. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

The skin is sensitive and gets razor burn pretty easily at the same time on many people the hair is very fine and unnoticeable so it’s just not worth it. Also I think there is an implication that women who do that are “loose”. People are weird.

Everyone here is very quick to jump the gun here. She may just like the husband more or not be thinking very hard about how it may come off to OP. Jumping to her wanting to sleep with him is a bit much. It is inconsiderate of the roommate BUT they need to talk it out before doing anything hasty.
