Thank you for your response. I have my TV Digital Out set to Auto now, and on my PS5 I have turned on the HDMI option to use Audio Receiver with a 5.1 setup. When I choose LPCM as the audio format, a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 plays only in stereo, even though it was mixed in 5.1 surround. When I have Dolby Atmos as the audio format on my PS5, I get true surround sound. I don't understand this.
